Wynonna

It all started with one dog named Wynonna. She was tossed from a car in the Walmart parking lot and left behind. As I asked people for help, I kept hearing the same things: "Somebody will help her." "She's not my dog." "Don't worry... somebody will do something." The problem was, nobody was doing something. So I did. Wynonna was rescued, spayed, and eventually found the loving family she deserved. Today, she lives like a queen, spoiled every day by the people who adore her. She became the inspiration behind Somebody To The Rescue because I never wanted another dog to be left waiting for "somebody" to step in. Today, Somebody To The Rescue is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing abandoned, neglected, and at-risk dogs. From Wynonna to the Ice Storm puppies and every rescue in between, we believe every dog deserves a second chance. Because every time someone says, "Somebody should help," we choose to be Somebody.
