PawFans connects animal lovers with verified rescues, shelters, and foster networks. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region) and able to enter a binding agreement. Rescues must accurately represent their organization and comply with applicable animal-welfare laws.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Rescues are responsible for animal listings, care-fund goals, medical disclaimers, and updates. Fans must use the platform lawfully and compassionately — no harassment, impersonation, or fraud.

Subscriptions & payments

• Following a rescue is a recurring monthly subscription billed through Stripe until canceled.
• Sponsorships and tips are one-time or recurring support payments toward named animals or rescues.
• Paid messages and posts may require an additional unlock fee set by the creator.
• PawFans may charge a platform fee on transactions to cover operations and payment processing.
• Prices, taxes, and payout timing are shown at checkout. Payouts to rescues require completed Stripe Connect onboarding.

Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel subscriptions at any time; access continues through the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout. Tips and sponsorships are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for clear billing errors or fraud. Refund requests: hello@pawfans.app.

Creator responsibilities

• Post only content you have rights to share and that relates to animal rescue
• Do not misrepresent adoption status, medical needs, or use of funds
• Respond to good-faith supporter messages within a reasonable time when possible
• Complete identity verification to earn a verified badge where offered

Content & moderation

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate community standards, including abuse, spam, illegal activity, or content unrelated to animal welfare. Report concerns via Rescue Radar, in-app reporting, or hello@pawfans.app.

Disclaimer

PawFans is a platform, not a rescue organization, veterinarian, or adoption agency. Adoption, transport, and medical decisions remain between you and the licensed rescue. We do not guarantee outcomes for any animal or fundraising goal.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawFans is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or third-party payment processors.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
